Announcing the PLOS Computational Biology Research Prize 2019 – Nominate your favorite articles by April 12

We are pleased to announce that nominations are now open for this year’s PLOS Computational Biology Research Prize. This program recognizes the best research articles published in 2018 in three categories:

  • Breakthrough Advance
  • Novel Methods/Software
  • Public Impact

Have you read a 2018 PLOS Computational Biology Research Article that stood out for you in terms of scientific excellence or impact on your field? Maybe you edited or reviewed a manuscript that caught your attention? If so, nominate them now for our “PLOS Computational Biology Research Prize”!

A $2000 (USD) prize will be awarded to the authors of the winning Research Article in each category from a pool of public nominations, selected by the PLOS Computational Biology Research Prize Committee.

Also, to show our appreciation for nominating, you will be able to opt in to be entered into a random prize drawing to receive a PLOS T-shirt when you nominate a paper!

To tell us which 2018 Research Articles you think are worthy of these awards, please complete our nomination form. Nominations are open to the public until April 12th, 2019 at 11:59 PM ET. If you wish to nominate more than one article, you may submit this form multiple times.

For more information on the program, take a look at the program page. Questions about the program can also be sent to ploscompbiol@plos.org.
